I have a number of e-mail accounts on Thunderbird. On one of them, the inbox appears blank. However if you click on the field where the e-mails would be listed, the e-mail will we shown in the bottom pane. It's as if the inbox words are there but invisible (like white print on white background). I'm wondering if it is just some setting that got messed up somehow. This mailbox has been set up for months and was working fine until yesterday. I have not (intentionally at least) changed anything on Thunderbird recently. Any ideas?

This sounds like you have an invisible list. Try this:

Select folder so you see 'invisible list'. You will have various column headers visible eg: From, Subject ,Date. To the right of these column headers is the 'select columns to display' icon. click on the far right 'select columns to display' icon to see drop down options. Select 'Reset columns to default' see image below as guide.

Yay! Yay! Yay! I hoped it was some simple setting like that. Thank you for taking the time to help by posting that answer. I was close to deleting that account and re-setting it up. This is so much better. Thank you again Toad-Hall!
