I have 2 accounts setup in Thunderbird version 45.4. But it seems the Main 3 viewing area is only tied to one of the accounts. IN other words, as I click/double click on folders in the left hand folder, the main view area only updates to show the message list from my first account.. I have to right click "open in new tab" or "open in new window" to view other inboxes, rather simply click. Is this expected?

Hello, thanks for the tips. As these things go, the problem seems to have rectified itself. Shortly after posting this, I went back and re-added my accounts etc. and exited and restarted thunderbird etc. and now all is well and things work as expected. Not sure exactly what woke things up, but seems fine now.
