This morning, I sent a donation (through PayPal) to Mozilla, at their request. Three hours later, I logged back into my PC, and my Malware Bytes software kept blocking repeated attacks to my PC, specifically the Mozilla X86 files. This is not good public relations on Mozilla's part. I'm not donating in the future if I have to contend with virus attacks. Thank You, Carol Warner

It would be a very hot topic here if Mozilla was doing any form of attacks on your Firefox install after a donation

You really need to give more details on what and where that Malwarebytes is claiming on.

Have you installed anything of late? What link did you use to send your donation?

Do you have Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit installed? And can you tell us what exact errors you're seeing or screenshot them & attach them here?

Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is giving some people a "Couldn't load XPCOM" error.

Thank you for your replies. I did not mean to infer that Mozilla caused the problem. I used PayPal for the donation.

I have not installed any new software. I logged off my PC (disconnected from the internet) after I made the donation. When I logged back on about 3 hours later, and tried to initiate Firefox, I started to get repeated notices from Malware bytes about a virus intrusion. It was going after the Mozilla 86 files. It said it was something like "ss.syscd.com". I started Malware bytes Chameleon (mostly by accident), and I ran a scan. The scan killed the virus.

I don't have Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit installed.

Posts about Malwarebytes and *syscd.com have been popping up for a few days and none of the other threads had any mention of doing a donation.
