I used to have a MacBook Pro (late 2011) and was able to press the "esc" key when in full screen mode using the Mozilla Firefox web browser. This action is no longer supported when trying to press the "esk" key using a MacBook Pro Touch.

Do you still see the message to press ESC to leave full screen mode when a website uses the full screen API to switch to full screen mode?

Note that you can only use ESC when you click a button on the web page to enter full screen mode and not when you enter full screen mode via other ways.
