I'm trying to run firefox 46.0.1 version and I can't get it to run after installing it. I'm on windows 7 64 bit. I have uninstalled it and deleted folders, rebooted, hasn't worked. I can't get firefox to come up at all, just the crash reporter. I tried opening firefox in safe mode but that didn't open firefox either, just the crash reporter.

here are few of the latest crash id's: Crash ID: bp-9bd76593-44e7-4f8f-b145-0c0d91170530 Crash ID: bp-b609ce69-0212-478a-8d9c-5743b1170530 Crash ID: bp-406581ac-e650-4ecc-a1e7-2e2651170512

Clicking on automatically add button says link doesn't exist and try manual steps just takes you to a blank of this form again.

hi mcmechen, firefox 46 is outdated, insecure and has already reached its end of live. that particular startup crash you've referenced should also have gotten addressed in the most recent firefox 53!

I need to run a version less than 47 for the software I am using. I can't update to the latest version.

it's the websense endpoint security software on your device that's triggering the startup crash in older firefox versions...
