When downloading from Google Drive (or Google Team Drive) a large folder with Firefox, I only end up with the last zip part file. All the other zip files are missing.

Detailed example (Firefox 53.0.2): After downloading a folder named "folder", I only get a file named "folder-20170517T210208Z-002.zip" in my download folder; however, the first zip file "folder-20170517T210208Z-001.zip" is missing hence I can't download my folder.

All zip files except the last one are not downloaded. When doing the same on Chrome I get both the 001 and 002 files (hence I get all the data), so all good with Chrome.

How do download all the individual zip files with Firefox from Google Drive?

Hi Delphi. I understand how this must be frustrating for you. My first thought is to make sure none of your extensions are responsible for this behavior. The quickest and easiest way, to make sure, is to launch Firefox in "Safe Mode" and try downloading your Google Drive folder again. I've provided instructions and info below.

Safe Mode is a special Firefox mode that can be used to troubleshoot and fix problems. Safe Mode temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes) that might be causing problems.

How to start Firefox in Safe Mode:

  1. Click the 3 bar menu button
  2. Click the ? help button
  3. Select Restart with Add-ons Disabled and Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog.
  4. Click the Start in Safe Mode button

Proceed to download your folder and let us know how that works.

You may have to download each folder or part manually.

Hi Fiz,

Thank you for your reply.

Firefox restarted in safe mode does unfortunately not solve the problem; the behavior remains strictly the same :(

Hi FredMcD,

Thank you for your reply.

How am I supposed "to download each folder or part manually" ?

Are the files set up as one download link, or is each listed separately?
