with newest TB version, status bar shows that TB is classifying emails for junk status.

Also, some of my emails have the buttons (junk: yes/no -- or however the text was, I don't remember the button caption). Mosz emails have the junk icon set in the 3 pane display.

The account setting for junk is: junk filter not activated (= no check at activate junk filter) .

How can I disable this? TB version 52.2.1, Win 10. many thanks

It seems that sometimes the indicators for settings get out of sync with the actual setting. I'd set it to "on", close Thunderbird, open Thunderbird, set it to "off" then close and re-open Thunderbird again. Setting it to on then off should force it to notice that a change in state is being requested.

Note that you must set this individually for each account, so if you have more than one account, make sure it's "off" in all of them.
