How can I get the icon to the start page upon opening Mozilla; to automatically goto About / latest version check upon opening icon? (ie about://firweox)???
Windows 7 laptop 64bit processor, Service pak 1, have installed 64bit (nightly latest ver) and 32bit Mozilla Mozilla browser icons... for older web pages
I would like upon opening the Mozilla icon to goto the internal home page link [ ABOUT ie: Mozilla://Mozilla ] to see IF this is the latest version of Mozilla browser everyday (upon fresh open) or not ( automatically instead of clicking my way there manually To double check???) Have both version (S) due to having either on 32bit or 64 bit versions?
2nd how can I select my setting changes to be NOT overridden TO be acknowledged my ( selection box ) and be acknowledged NOT IGNORED AND OVERIDDEN ON Mozilla server's end process ?
Do not care about the Verbage of ( a faster user experience ) my changes WANT TO BE viewed and exercised on my PC level AND NOT JUST on the Mozilla Server portion ( to whatever reasons that Mozilla WANTS to ack! )
Thank you for your assistance in these 2- matters. A

Never post any personal information because an adware robot could find it, and start sending you all kinds of spam. This includes e-mail, phone, and home information.
Please remove that information from your post.
There is no way to do what you want except by setting the options to alert you to an update.
Note: When updates are sent out, sometimes they are sent out by districts so that any new problems can be discovered.
Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar. Then Help > About Firefox will tell you what version have. WARNING: and install any updates.

You normally open "Help -> About Firefox" to check for updates.
Maybe open this page as the startup page or create a bookmark.
