There is a "real" bookmarks menu button for the toolbar. You can add it from Customize, or use the "Library" button as described in the article linked below:

Hi, I don't know about your favorites but the "hamburger" is the 3 horizontal stacked bars [looks like a hamburger from the side], should be located at the end of one of your toolbars.
