Since downloading 57.0, I've lost all my bookmarks and saved emails. 57.0 is so SLOW - bring back 56

Hi,

If you can't find all of your bookmarks and bookmark folders after updating to the new Firefox Quantum (version 57), try this solution:

  1. Click on the Library 57 library icon icon on your Firefox toolbar.
  2. Click on Bookmarks, then click on Bookmarking Tools.
  3. Click on Add Bookmarks Menu to the Toolbar.
    • A Bookmarks Menu Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) icon will be added to your toolbar.
  4. Click on the new Bookmarks Menu icon. You should get the same Bookmarks Menu as in earlier Firefox versions.

Let us know if this solves the problem.

Your saved emails are not from Firefox but from your email or webmail client. As for speed issues try a refresh. Navigate to about:support then click on Refresh Firefox. This will preserve your data on the desktop in a folder called Old Firefox Data. To restore the data, navigate to about:profiles in your url bar. Click on Open Folder in the local directory. Copy and paste the files from Old Firefox Data into the new profile folder and restart Firefox.
