Just updated FF and every folder in my toolbar has been deleted. Many of these I used daily to access account information from th properties. How to restore?
FireFox just updated and my entire toolbar of folders has disappeared. I have notes in the properties from the bookmarks in these folders that I access daily. I am NOT seeing where these folders were moved to or any other information about restoring the toolbar folders.

Hi,
If you can't find all of your bookmarks and bookmark folders after updating to the new Firefox Quantum (version 57), try this solution:
- Click on the Library icon on your Firefox toolbar.
- Click on Bookmarks, then click on Bookmarking Tools.
- Click on Add Bookmarks Menu to the Toolbar.
- A Bookmarks Menu icon will be added to your toolbar.
- Click on the new Bookmarks Menu icon. You should get the same Bookmarks Menu as in earlier Firefox versions.
Let us know if this solves the problem.
- For other ways to customize Firefox, see Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
- To learn more about Firefox bookmarks, see Bookmarks in Firefox.
This did not restore my folders that were in my toolbar.
Look in Bookmarks then Look for the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder
Nope, not there. The folders are no where, not even in restore mode from all of the backups! I had 2 versions of FF, Aurora and the other and it looks like every backup came from the version I used maybe 4 times a year.
Seems like you corrupted your profile by running two builds with the same profile.
This is a bunch of malarky. I have had these in my toolbar since 2005 without any issues. This is definitely a programming snafu and I seem to not be the only person with the issue of folders being deleted.
