Audio notifications from Google Hangouts sound distorted whenever I get a message. This does not happen when I used Chrome or Safari on the same computer.

Have also tested on a second computer and same thing is happening.

Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.

TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.

Pkshadow thank you for the response. I followed all steps and even tried a fresh install after removing all settings and still having this issue on both computers.

Did you try the Profile ?

Ok uninstall this way Please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Do the Mac Equivalent .................... Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.3 with a Full Version Installer
