I get a 'script error' message when I try to sign in to Sync.
I just set up Firefox on my new laptop, and tried to sign in to Sync to import my bookmarks. Got a 'script error' message both when I try to sign in, and when I try to recover my password.
I've only got 3 email addresses I've used in the past 15 years, and tried all of them both ways (sign in and password recovery). Get 'script error' every time. I've used Sync in the past few years to get bookmarks onto another computer, so I know I've got an account.
So, any idea what to do next?

Looks like the problem went away on its own.
Now Firefox says it's syncing but no syncing is taking place; new question coming.

Just to clarify, are you saying I'll have to set up a new Sync account?
I'm OK with that if the answer is yes. Just want to confirm.
Screen capture.
As far as I know yes. Sync is meant to be used regularly between devices and not as a storage place. So my guess is that since did not log in your date was lost. Sorry am guessing here as this is a partnered product and info is sparse.
