Both Google Play and F-Droid say the device is incompatible. It's running Android 4.4.4. Any clues? Is Android KitKat not supported? Strangely enough, my older phone, a Galaxy SII running Cyanogenmod 13 runs Firefox Focus just fine.

Hi

Looking at the requirements in the Google Play listing for the app, Firefox Focus for Android requires Android 5.0 and above.

You may want to try the main Firefox for Android app. It has the same private browsing features and may be more suitable for your device.

PS. Firefox Focus is a different app than Firefox for Android and has different requirements.

Sorry, I must have posted in the wrong forum. I was referring to Firefox Focus is incompatible with the J1.
