to me Following v57.0 Quantum Update, I lost several key Legacy extensions, one of which was Password Editor. I am not using LastPass. However, I have found "chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul" - but upon entering same in the Firefox address box, the following warning sign and information states:

"If you reset your Master Password, all your stored Web and email passwords, form data, personal certificates, and privacy keys will be forgotten. Are you sure you want to reset your Master Password?" . . . . I closed out!

Also in connection with Firefox, et al., Just Prior the Quantum issue, I had changed Firefox 32-bit to 64-bit, which did nothing whatsoever to enhance Firefox's performance, but has caused one very troublesome glitch . . . I now receive "Firefox Not Responding" stalls in both Firefox and, e.x., when a security scan is running. If I am not at the monitor to tease it into submission, it often times does not recover on its own.

I'm a desperate damsel in distress . . . HELP?!

You must downgrade Firefox to get the old add-ons working again. Once done, get your passwords and

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
