Firefox New Tab requires 20-30 seconds to load on the maverick PC, 2-4 seconds max on other PCs, 2-4 seconds for Chrome on all PCs. I have reinstalled Firefox on the maverick PC twice and set up all Firefox applications identically. Test conditions: only one tab to start with, then add one more tab and timing the response. Hi, Since you have already been uninstalling and reinstalling please do it this way 1 more time : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 58.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
