When I open Firefox the theam displays. When I edit the address to google.com the theme disapears. How do I resolve this?
Recreation Steps: 1.) Open Firefox 59.0.2 Quantum. 2.) Install and activate a theme e.g. Steampunk dream 3.) Once it is installed and active close Firefox. 4.) Open Firefox and note that the theme displays. 5.) In the address bar type in "google" and note that while typing the theme disappears. In options the theme is still enabled but is not working. I have only seen this in this release.

Hi, I notice that their is a issue just in preview and laying with the address bar. This Theme has not been updated in 6yrs. This could be the issue . There seems to be no way of contacting the Developer.
Is a choice I guess for you to make. If everything else works great and you are customized to the way you like do you want to do a Refresh and see if by doing that that fix's the issue though you will loose everything else ?
Please let us know what you decide.
I just tried a most recent theme called Fish and get the same result. This time I noticed that when I add any theme, simply changing tabs makes it vanish. When I return to the tab where I added the theme it is gone from there as well. The issue is not related to the age of the theme. I will try the refresh route and note the results here.
I did the refresh and enabled the newest theme. When I changed tabs it went blank. When I returned to the first tab it was blank as well. If you cannot recreate the issue please let me know how to escalate the issue to the next level. ThanX!
You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
