Codes and letters and numbers appear in my header - Received by.....Arc message ARC Seal etc. I need to stop this and have a clear space and only necessary information in the header.

I think those must be the "full" message headers. The following is from a Sept. 2015 post. Could you check whether it's still applicable:

On Windows, tap the Alt key to display the menu bar if needed:

View > Headers

It sounds as though you have "Full" selected instead of "Normal". If you switch it to Normal, do messages look the way you want?
