Firefox GPO and Firefox Account saved logins and passwords
Hi, I am testing the "adml/admx" file for GPO and I have noticed a problem with the "Firefox Account" when the GPO are enabled. I am on a Windows 7 x64 with Firefox 60.0.1 x64 machine. When GPO are NOT set/active, I have access to all my synchronized logins and passwords from my Firefox Account, but when GPO are applied, I lose all my logins and passwords. Is there a restriction with Firefox synch when GPO are enabled? Is this issue due to the fact that I am using the French version of Firefox on client PC? Thanks a lot. Nicky

What GPOs are you applying? There is a GPO for sync that would remove that access.

Hi, Thanks for the answer, here are all the GPO activated:
Clear all data when browser is closed Display Bookmark toolbar Display menu toolbar Don't check default browser No Default Bookmarks Offer to save logins Override the first run page Override the upgrade page Search bar location Tracking protection Bookmark 12345 Keep cookies until Firefox is closed URL for home page
Thx
The "Clear all data when browser is closed" clears all your logins and passwords when the browser is closed.
Hi, I have tested to disable "Clear all data when browser is closed" and the result is the same. The Firefox account saved logins and passwords are not syncing. So this is not related with Firefox Account. Thanks.
