I have "GMX" installed, reportably 'enhanced by Google', this is not private, how do i get rid of "GMX"?

Somewhere, I have installed, (not knowingly), "GMX". This is 'enhanced by Google'. Thus defeating Firefoxe's privacy pledge. I am using Avast, free Antivirus. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and still have this unwelcome "GMX" Thank you foe any possible assistance.
