Thunderbird will not open after updating Windows 10 using the "April 2018" update just yesterday. When trying to open Thunderbird I get an error message saying that I need to restart my computer. I've done this restart at least 6 times. I've tried to uninstall / reinstall Thunderbird, but it won't let me, giving the same error message that I need to restart my computer. I cannot open Thunderbird in "Safe" mode either. I tried to run a compatibility test but again, I get the same error message. Help?

What is the exact error message?

This is the complete message: Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Thunderbird. Do you want to reboot now? (yes / no option boxes) Thanks for taking a look.  :-)
