I have tried uninstalling Firefox. I cannot delete the file. The pop-up window states: The item Firefox can't be moved to the trash because it's open." The problem is there are no Firefox windows open. I've tried restarting my computer and also completing turning off my computer. Then immediately trying to delete the file but still to no avail.

I have some type of adware on only my Firefox. When I type in a search item this pops up: services.findwind.com

Can anyone help? Thanks

Hi, some one using Chrome a few years back on Apple Forum

The answer to them was : It is a search engine. Go into settings, search and manage search engines. Pick and delete that line (it may be in there twice). Then also check your startup settings and be sure it is not there also and delete if it is. They do a good job hiding this item.

Hope the above helps you trace it down.

Start your Computer in safe mode. Then remove Firefox.
