I need help deleting an IMAP folder in Thunderbird

more options

I'm using 64bit Win 10 Professional, I have a duplicate folder which I cannot delete and cannot unsubscribe from on an IMAP account.

I attempted to follow the advice from a previous forum solution on the same topic, but the folder doesn't show in subscribe options so I can't uncheck it.

Steps I've taken with no success: 1) Directly delete it --> No Response 2) Compact it --> Received this message response "The current operation on <folder>> did not succeed. The mail server for account responded: 'Mailbox doesn't exist: Shipping Reference.Globegistics . APC (0.001 + 0.000 se...' " 3) Account Settings --> Manage folder Subscriptions --> [folder does not show here] 4) Server Settings --> Advanced --> show only subscribed folders is checked

Any assistance would be appreciated!

Thanks, Paul

Chosen solution

I ended up restarting my computer and that seemed to resolve the issue without safe mode. If I experience this again though, I'll definitely try that.

Thanks!

Try to start Windows in safe mode with networking enabled. - Win10 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode. - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode

Does the problem go away?
