What happened to search button in my contact list. How do I retrieve it?
I having problems creating a group of contacts from my contact list. There used to be a search button to find people quickly. It has dissapeared. Also, most of my contacts are listed with the last name 1st. Now all of a sudden the new entries list the first name 1st. It's confusing and I do not understand why. I greatly appreciate any help.

You're looking at the View menu in the main window. Open Address Book and click on View in the Menu Bar.

In Address Book, is View/Toolbars/Address Book Toolbar enabled? Press Alt if the Menu Bar with View is hidden. Then, look at View/Show Name As.
This was helpful. Thank YOu. I found the toolbars and my search button. However, I have NOT found "show name as". So, I still do not understand why my list does not show the last name first (as it did at one time). I have to change it manually now.
The View menu should appear as in the attached picture.
I do not have Show Name As under view. I have under view: toolbars, Layout, Folders, today Pane, Calendar, Tasks, Sort by, Threads, Headers, Messae Body As, Display Attachments Inline, Zoom, Text encoding, Message source, Message Security Info.
