Hello, I downloaded Thunderbird yesterday however I cannot load it onto my Mac as it comes up with a message saying it is damaged? I tried downloading it a several times but the same message appears. I downloaded from Safari & Chrome. Mac operating system is masOC Mojave 10.14.3.

First, you should download the installer from the TB site, as the installer is 'signed'. Second, if you still get the damaged disk error, see this reference.

Have downloaded it several times for the TB website & does not work. Have tried it on another Mac with no joy. The reference regarding disabling through the terminal window did not work either.
