Chosen solution

You can rename/remove logins.json and key4.db and key3.db in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

If you keep having problems then remove pkcs11.txt and secmode.db as well. New files will be created when necessary.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:preferences page.

Hi, what do you mean by "locked out"? What are you trying to access that you can't access?
