Most noteable in youtube but despite a screen change to a larger one, every time i go to a new youtube page it zooms in once. After a few pages comments are invisible and fewer videos are visible. This is on a mac mini 10.15.1 2013. Only on firefox not Safari and I have to zoom out multiple times. Hope you can help

Do you have any extensions on Firefox and Safari and if so, are they the same, if not its just a YouTube problem. Message YouTube and tell me what they say. This problem only happens with YouTube, nothing else.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
