Why does Firefox suddenly add a ?reload to the end of URLs on my sites?
Recently Firefox in Ubuntu (latest version) has started adding a ?reload after every URL and in the event that there were parameters being passed, it replaces them. For example, it gives filename.php?reload when it originally had filename.php?ID=1. Since it's doing it primarily on my development sites, it makes it very difficult to reload a page when testing.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.
