Is anyone else getting cached pages instead of live ones when moving back a page?

I have only noticed it on cnn.com, but when I am on the main page and click to read a story and then page back, the page I go back to is an old, probably cached page, not the main page I was just previously seeing. If I refresh, the proper live page then returns. It is not happening with other browsers.

I'm having exactly the same problem... it essentially makes "Back" option in the "3dot" menu unusable.

This is obviously a bug, but it needs to be addressed... it's a strong reason to abandon Android Firefox for Chrome... which I would prefer not to do.

I will post a "workaround" kludge, but it should not be necessary to do this.

  • Instead of <tapping> a link, <tap/hold>
  • Select "Open in New Tab"
  • Open Tab

When finished with the link, closing the Tab will return you to the page where you opened the tab.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance, Beverly Howard
