Hello. I have 2 problems with Thunderbird:

  • a) My local directory is C: \ Users \ Carlos \ AppData \ Roaming \ Thunderbird \ Profiles \ tovxj0y0.default \ Mail \ pop3.fibertel.com.ar

and a few days ago I detected a different directory, which I have not created with pop3.fibertel-3.com.ar. I proceeded to direct the Thunderbird to the local directory pop3.fibertel.com.ar and observed that there are subfolders of the Inbox that indicate that there are no emails, but it appears that the size of the messages in that subfolder weighs 712 Kb. In this situation I proceeded to incorporate files that I had backups made, in pop3.fibertel.com.ar in the past; using the "copy and paste" in the same subfolders with which I operate today in Thunderbird. In order to correct the .mfs, in each folder I entered Properties and tried to repair it, without any results. The number of emails remains unchanged in the Inbox and Sendbox subfolders. How can I resolve this situation?

  • b) Every September I keep ALL the folders with their content in a folder called Local, on the hard drive, identifying RECEIVED 20xx and SENT 20XX; in order not to load these every time I open Thunderbird and for better security.

Now, if I incorporate all these folders in the Thunderbird LOCAL, I cannot read them, which until September 2019 I could see the RECEIVED 20XX and SENT 20XX folders from several years prior to the current one. How can I resolve this situation?

Waiting for a prompt and effective solution, I greet you sincerely
        Carlos Landau
