Dear Mozilla community,

in Thunderbird, I would like to delete emails in my inbox that are older than 5 years (keeping those that are marked "favorite/star").

In Account > Settings > Storage, there is a box that I can check called "delete messages that are older than 30 days", and if I do check it, there is a pop-up asking for a confirmation and "ok". However, I would like to change the "30 days" to "5 years" before confirming, but the drop-down menu for selecting that time is not clickable.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Elisabeth

Click OK in that confirmation pop, then adjust the number of days as needed. The deletion will take place after you click OK to close the Account Settings dialog. Hint: 5yrs x 365 = 1825 days
