When I try to go to Facebook via Firefox, I now see a blank white screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have disabled add ons, I have cleared cache. Thoughts?

This suggests there some Facebook site data used in the regular windows -- that Firefox doesn't re-use in private windows -- is causing the problem. Examples include cookies, local storage data, cached pages, and possibly other things that aren't coming to mind.

You already cleared the cache, so what to try next.

In the regular window, while viewing that blank Facebook page, try removing cookies and site data as follows:

Click the lock icon at the left end of the address bar. After a moment, a "Clear Cookies and Site Data" button should appear at the bottom. Go ahead and click that.

In the dialog that opens, you will see one or more matches to the current address so you can remove the site's cookies individually without affecting other sites.

Then try reloading the page. Any improvement (after logging in again)?

Hi, several users have reported a blank page after logging in (i.e., on the news feed). I'm not sure anyone has diagnosed it yet.

Do other pages load, such as:

Any difference if you try to access Facebook in a private window (Command+Shift+p or right-click > Open Link in New Private Windows)?

Wow! Yes it opened in private window. What does that mean if i can open it in private and not regular? Thanks.

Thank you! It seems to be working. I had no idea about private windows. A few hours ago I learned that if I downloaded my account it would reindex the profile. Your solution worked as I was saving that download. THANK YOU!!!!!
