Hi. My thunderbird account has stopped importing emails into my inbox. It is not a connection problem as I can still access the web. I have not changed any settings. My emails sill come through OK to my phone, but do not load in Thunderbird on my laptop.

Version 78 changed the minimum TLS protocol to TLSv1.2

If the server you use is still using the old protocols TLSv1.0 or TLSv1.1 then you will not be able to download emails, so you need to change the minimum TLS version back to what was being used in version 68. Please follow the instructions at this link and then restart Thunderbird. You do not need to change any of the server settings.
