Firefox Additional Search Engines
When I refreshed Firefox, I went to add my "additional search engines," so when I search for something in the search box, I can choose my default search engine, or another one such as Wikipedia or Amazon.
Now on my new Firefox profile, there are many search options I can't choose anymore, such as imdb, thesaurus.com or "just watch" (to find where shows are streaming), for example. They used to work fine on my old profile.
I've tried finding them by clicking Tools | Options | Search | Find more search engines, and also by clicking the magnifying glass in the search box and clicking "Add [whatever] Search," which isn't there for some web sites, or by clicking the 3 dots in the address bar and then clicking "Add Search Engine," which also isn't there for these other sites.
So you can add YouTube as an additional search engine, but not imdb anymore.
But when I go back to my old Profile, all these different pages I want are available from the search box next to the address bar.
Why is this? Why would they make something LESS functional than it was before?
Thank you.

UPDATE
I just copied the most recent files (November only) from my old profile to my new one and all the search engines I wanted showed up again, I'm not sure exactly which file they're stored in
I worry that the problems with my old profile might have come with them, so I would still like to know how to get all these (and other) search engines on a fresh new profile?
