When Replying to messages that have images in signatures

when I reply to someone who has images embeded in their signatues I am getting error messages and unable to send the email until I remove the signatures from message. Below are a couple of the error messages:

1. Sending of the message failed. There was an error attaching image.png. Please check that you have access to the file. Png file

2. Sending of the message failed. There was an error attaching image001.jpg. Please check that you have access to the file.

what anti virus are you using. Traditionally these errors are caused by scanning.

using a mac mini M1 chip, no antivirus installed.
