Hello,

- Multi Account Containers installed - Several add-ons requiring MAC are recommended to be disabled due to thinking it is not installed - Even the MAC extension thinks MAC not installed - Enable Container Tabs grayed (blued) out - I am not forcing private windows/tabs

Do you want to use containers? If you want to use containers, don't disable those extensions.

Hi Brad, in your screenshot, the setting is locked "on," so that looks normal. But Multi-Account Containers thinks container tabs are not enabled -- it's giving you some kind of error message?

Hello and thanks so much for your response. If you look at the bottom of my screenshot you see the error... several other extensions showed the same error and suggested I disable them. No other errors outside of that.

I guess it depends on how you read it. To me, it's not an error, but an explanation of why you are not allowed to turn off the "Enable Container Tabs" setting. You are not allowed to turn off "Enable Container Tabs" because an extension requires it. If you want access to the setting, you need to disable the extension. Does that make sense? Probably it could be written more clearly.

Hmmm... i wonder why the suggested solution is to disable the extension and the option to un-enable container tabs is grayed out?
