How do I silence Firefox for iOS completely

more options

I have tried:

  • Turning on Do Not Disturb
  • Clicking the bell in the Control Center
  • Pressing both volume buttons at the same time
  • Going into Settings>Sounds and turning down the slider for ringers and alerts

I have done them ALL at the same time.

And yet, ads will still snap the sound back on in Firefox. (Painfully loudly, in fact.)

How do I silence the blasted thing?

There are ways, but if you want to keep your phone in one piece, a drastic way I can come up is going to settings and applications and find Firefox and turn it off, but offcourse you wont be able to internet until you turn it back on again. Genius answer right, did it help you ?
