Download Folders - Randomly Chosen?

When I download a file, I select the folder from many that I use. I tend to download files to the same folder for 3-4 downloads at a time, before selecting another folder for the next downloads.

However, after selecting a folder, Firefox bring up some unused, totally random folder for the next download, moving away from the last folder I selected for the last download, which I would expect to remain the same until I changed it.

Is this right? It's driving me nuts, and pushing me back towards Chrome.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

http://www.freedownloadmanager.org It is a powerful modern download accelerator and organizer for Windows and Mac.
