Setting default profile based on time of day?

Is there a way I can somehow automatically switch my default profiles back and forth based on day of the week/time of day? I have separate profiles (in about:profiles) for personal and work, but I'd like to switch the default based on my work schedule so that links open by default in my work profile during the day and my personal profile outside work hours.

Does anybody know how I can do this?

You could check out https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/profile-switcher/ and possibly modify the code so that a date listener triggers the profile change.
