Pictures and links won't load

This is been going on for awhile when I am looking at yahoo news and i click on the article none of the pictures will load they are just grayed out and the links to like Instagram or tweeter are there for a second and then disappear before i cant click on it and then its just a white box. How do i fix this? I have tried a few things like clearing the history and cashe taking out ad blocker but outside of that not to tech savvy. So not sure what else to try. Please Help

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
