Hi

You will need to download the file to your Android device, then open it with a .pdf reader application.

You posted with a user agent for Firefox on desktop.

Is your question about Firefox on a desktop device or about Firefox on a mobile device since you posted on the Firefox for Android forum ?

Is this a PDF file you downloaded directly from a website or about a PDF file that you opened in Firefox via "Open in Firefox" and that you possibly bookmarked ?

This problem is on an Andriod device. All the files ( pdf, jpg and html) are localy stored on an extra memory card in the Andriod device. Acrobat reader is also installed.

has previously worked well, this, it started when firefox or android was updated, can't remember which.

The current version of Firefox for Android cannot view .pdf files, you will need to use a dedicated .pdf viewer app for this.

Acrobat reader is installed! isn't that enough?

You will need to open the file in the Adobe app to be able to see it. You will not be able to open it in Firefox for Android.

yes , I know you have to use adobe acrobat reader to open pdf files and alike. I will try to explaine my problem futher: I have tousands of pdf´s so therefore i have made a index.html file that catlogs them. The plan is that when i open the index file through firefox all the pdf´s is listed. Then when i click on a pdf it should open through adobe acrobat reader. The index.html is located in the extra memorycard on my adroid device, togethe with the pdf-files in the same map, and looks like: <title>All My pdf documents</title> A very long discription what this pdf file contains
A nother long discription about this file
A very long discription what this file3 contains

Sorry, my example of the index.html was executed not shown. I will try again
