No matter how much I try on my iPad 5 from xiaomi, the option of adding to home screen does not work. On the other hand it does work with Google Chrome and the inbuilt browser but Firefox browser cannot add a home screen button. Running on Android 11 and miui gui 12.5.8 Full updated. It didn't work previously either. Thank you very much for your great work. Feel free to contact me. Regards. Norbert

Hi Norbert

Are you selecting the Add to Home screen option in the Firefox for Android menu?

Hello Saburo, thank you for your answer and for your concern.

Yes, I am clicking on the option of adding to home screen but nothing happens. Due to this issue I am only using Chrome to do so which does work but I wish I could use this option to on my Firefox which is my beloved main browser.

There is a very interesting functionality on this pad or any related product that has MIUI as GUI and this is the option of making screenshots which is performed by dragging three fingers vertically from uptodown. Once that is done you actually have the option to capture the scrolling screen with full quality which can be done in Google Chrome and also in the native browser of Xiaomi. This is a very useful tool that cannot be used in Firefox. It is useful because it doesn't only allow you to capture the screen of what is visible but also work lies hidden before scrolling down. Just wondering if there's any way to enable this function with Firefox...

Still, thank you very much for your support. I must add that this does issue of not being able to add to home screen on my iPad does not happen on my mobile phone which is a Xiaomi mi 8 6gb which has MIUI 11.0.2.0.

Kind regards and hope to hear from you soon.
