Which web rendering engine does Firefox currently use?

And big question is it that Firefox's engine is more secure than Chromium Blink or not? Also does it make much difference. In terms of website compatibility, I have heard that some websites only support Chromium Blink being most popular.

Please someone explain me exact difference between these web engines and what should I care?

Hi

Firefox for Android uses Geckoview, our own engine that allows us to build and iterate in the features we want to build quicker, without having to depend on other parties.
