Firefox won't open
Firefox stopped working. If you open task manager, it shows there but you can't end the process. If you try to open it again, it just shows it's open again. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and nothing works. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but the problem is still there. I have found that I can open it if I run my laptop in safe mode with network, but it won't run in normal mode. I have a new laptop and want to move all my Firefox data there. But if it won't open, I can't move it.

Hi billycarr80, You don't want Firefox open to copy your Profile data. See this article: Recovering important data from an old profile
To get rid of the existing process you probably need to reboot your computer or at least log out. You should backup your profile before you do anything.

Creating a new profile is a quick way to test whether it's a profile problem or a software problem. You can create a new profile whether Firefox is open or closed.
