Am running PCLinuxOS, fully updated. Can't use TB anymore since when i run it it pretty much freezes up. i can see Htop and the TB threads taking up a lot of CPU time.

i've tried turning off everything that i can find - when i manage to get to use the program for a couple of minutes. Have uninstalled all add-ons. Turned off Hardware (can't remember what it's called).

Have been looking for previous .rpms but PCLinuxOS doesn't stock them and the one i found was like 98.x.x but when i tried to install it it complained about a couple of dependencies.

See this> rpm -i thunderbird-91.9.0-1-omv4003.x86_64.rpm warning: thunderbird-91.9.0-1-omv4003.x86_64.rpm: Header V4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID bf81de15: NOKEY error: Failed dependencies:

       gtk3-modules is needed by thunderbird-91.9.0-1.x86_64
       libevent-2.1.so.7()(64bit) is needed by thunderbird-91.9.0-1.x86_64
       rpmlib(PayloadIsZstd) <= 5.4.18-1 is needed by thunderbird-91.9.0-1.x86_64

Wish i could get this thing to work. i use it for 4 accounts - maybe not very many but they are important to our family.

Thanks for all the work you guys have put into this great program all these many years. It's gonna be a shame to have to find some other mail program to replace TB.

Have a great evening, please stay safe and be happy!  :)

Chosen solution

Am running this version> 102.0.3 (64-bit)

Have finally been able to disable the two calendars that TB was trying to access.

TB now works as expected. Thanks for answering and have a radiant day!  :)

Which version exactly are you running?

TB 102.1.0 is supposed to be released this week. Once available, upgrade to that version, and report back what happened.
