My version is up to date. However, in the past couple of weeks, the loading of pages is VERY slow--and often timing out. Especially complex pages. I haven't done anything different in the last couple of weeks to provoke a change and cause the dial up speeds. No other computers on our network are having this issue. My other browsers are loading the same pages somewhat quicker, but they're all still super slow on a page with a lot of script. I've cleared the cache, deleted cookies, and ensured Firefox is updated. Ideas?

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
