Missing icons on address bar on Firefox Nightly 111.0a1 (2023-01-26) (64-bit) Mac OSX 12.5.1 Monterey on M1

Dear all,

it's been a while since I completely lost icons on the address bar apart from the Container ones.

The icons for "Always open this in a Container" or "Toggle reader view" or "Bookmark this page" are missing, not their functionalities (I can blindly click on them).. but no icons, I tried to reset the Customization of my bar (brrrrr I lost all my extensions icons and orders!! uarggh) but no luck for me.

It is quite annoing since I have to wait the popup otherwise I cannot remember where are exactly the icons..

Could anyone help me please?

Thank you in advance, FrAg

Dear cor-el,

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction: I tested with a new profile, and everything was working correctly.. suddendly I recognize the different position of bars (url bar, tab bars etc) and I remember that I used to change Firefox behaviour to resamble Safari one (I still prefer tabs on the bottom and url bar on the top). I am using Firefox in this shape since a very long time, and I COMPLETELY forgot that I MANUALLY used WhiteSur GTK Theme for Firefox (https://github.com/vinceliuice/WhiteSur-gtk-theme) to change Firefox to resamble Safari - a very simple guide is here: https://technastic.com/make-firefox-look-like-safari-macos-big-sur/.

I uploaded the new css scripts (change them accordingly) and everything returned as espected. Thank you so much and sorry if I bothered you with my faulty memory...

Ciao, FrAg

Keep in mind that Nightly is unstable alpha and you can always (temporarily) experience issues.

This works for me, so this could be a problem with the theme you use. Did you try one of the other (built-in) themes (system, light, dark) ?

If you suspect a broken profile, then try a new, clean, profile.
