Attach Email to Outgoing Message

I want to send an email with another email as an attachment. I know how to attach a file or web page but there is no option in Thunderbird that I can see to attach an email. As a long-time user of Outlook, I am used to being able to do this. Is there any way I can do it in Thunderbird? Thanks.

Chosen solution

'mail file' is .eml. To see files with suffixes, go to windows file explorer, click view, and select view>show>filenameextensions.

Hi David, and thanks for your response. When I select "save as", I don't get the option to save as a .eml file. The only options I see are:

Mail files HTML files Text files All files

Can you let me know what the process is, please? Thanks.
