I am using Thunderbird 102.14.0 on a MAC. Thunderbird is not accepting my password. I tried to change to a new password but I am unable to accomplish this. I can get to settings then to saved passwords then the SMTP provider. It shows I last changed my password today but when prompted for the password I type it in the "enter your password dialog box but the dialog box keeps coming up. My password I changed to is not being accepted.

Did you visit your provider's website and used the forgot password facility to change your password? That's the only way. You can't change your account's password via Thunderbird.
