Email App for Android Phone
I have been getting numerous eMails over the last few weeks that do not have any address from the sender, not even a name. That is how it shows on my smartphone eMail App Version 6.1.82.0 (licensed by Apache and Mozilla) and as a result, I cannot send to spam. I can only delete them, but then I get more. The subject varies, but the message always says, "Remove-Me." When the eMail is opened, sometimes the only thing in it is a link to "Remove-Me". I am reluctant to use that link though I do not wish to receive anymore of these emails. When I contact my eMail provider, they had me sign in to their site to view my eMails and there, the offending eMails showed up as being sent from my own eMail address. Could this be someone using the Relay program offered by Firefox? Whether or not, is there a way to prevent eMails that have no sender's address being received in my eMail box? If there isn't, there should be. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi.
This does not sound like an issue with Firefox for Android but is something that your email service provider should be able to help you with.
Thank you, Paul. Unfortunately, I tried my email service provider first and they said it must be related to the mobile app I'm using to view and send my emails via my phone. I suppose because they see that when using my laptop to access my emails from their site it shows a sender, they don't think the problem is with them. I actually could use their site to send those emails to spam, but since they show the sender as me, I would end up sending any emails legitimately from me to spam and block future emails I may send to myself. It seems to me that some smart IT person should be able to add an option to their email app to block emails that don't have sender email addresses. But I am not a geek. Thanks again for your help.
Hi
This sounds like something that you will need to contact your email app's support team for assistance with.
